Some weathered Internet travelers including former Palo Alto mayor Liz Kniss
and Ole of Ole's Car Shop gathered in the MPAC community studio to swap stories
of human connections, inspiration, and invaluable information they found in
cyberspace. Viewers were invited to call-in during the live cablecast on Public
Access Channel 6 on the Palo Alto Cable Co-op system. The program was produced
by members of PACOMNET, a volunteer group of Palo Altans hoping to establish a
community network for neighbor-to-neighbor dialogues, and moderated by Kathryn
E. Johnston of PACOMNET.
