Inverted "V" Design for Mac Keyboard Input

The Design

Two Mac ADB keyboards cabled together in a daisy chain
Keyboards mounted on inverted "V" built of aluminum sheets
(covers for boxes from electrical store, riveted together)
Keyboards attached to aluminum by Velcro
Mouse rests in middle on platform of aluminum
Then mouse and keyboards all sit on small telephone stand
      (from furniture store)

Background

Bob Horn's Inverted V double keyboard has been tested under Mac OS 6.5 and 6.8 .

However note: Bob stood up at one of Dr Robert Markison's talks and described his setup. But after the talk, the Apple manager in charge of I/O systems approached Bob to tell him that the software should not allow keyboards to be chained together in this way. So, beware      Apple may have "fixed" it for 7.x and 8.x ...

And since we are talking about consciousness raising, it is also worth noting that Bob sent a copy of the plans for his kbd to a well known computer journalist after she did an article on carpal tunnel, but she did not ever do a follow up article with Bob's design. So, whatsamatter her? Gloom, doom, and You are all crippled is newsworthy, but someone taking his hands into his own hands and fixing the situation is not?
